Amber's Cake

Amber's Cake

I used 2 white cake mixes and cooked both in a 9" x 13" pan. Let cool completely.

I put cake on board then iced and stacked the other cake on top.

Then I iced all in white. I used a fork to make the pattern on top.

I used buttercream in white and pale orange and blue.

I did the border in orange and writing in blue. I also did some vines and leaves. I used some royal icing flowers as well. I added a butterfly and a ladybug. All edible.

I did add some food color to the cake mix to make it colorful. And my blue icing did NOT cooperate and the writing did not turn out to my satisfaction.
