bundt cake princess dress frosting help

by Patti
(Akron)

I am making my granddaughter's birthday cake by using a bundt pan cake as the princess dress for a Dora doll. I'm looking for a light fluffy, pipable frosting that is very white for the surface and will be decorapurplish purple. Don't like the greasy butter creams. Any suggestions? Thought I was going to make cream cheese frosting but was just reading how it's not pipable.

Pipeable icing

My husband likes the whipped topping. It is easy to decorate with and starts out a real pretty white. If you go to Walmart or a local grocery you can purchase it in the cake deco iasle for about $5 a box. Give or take it varies.
