I am making a chocolate cake with a buttercream frosting for Sunday afternoon. Is it too early to make it on Thursday night? What's the best way to keep it?
I was in a class about 30 years ago learning to do cakes. I did a cake once a week and when I came home I put it in the freezer. I had quite a few in there and then started donating them to a boys home. They came out great and fresh when thawed out. Just be sure they are wrapped good or put into a plastic cake plate and cover. These were all buttercream cakes..
