How do you decorate in between the layers of wedding cake with lots of fresh flowers, would you use oasis to stick flowers in?

placing flowers between cake layers.

I use a polystyrene cake dummy and cut it to the width I need and stick the second tier, which is on a thin cake board to it with glue. I then push the stem from the sugar roses into the dummy all around it, if you stick the flowers close together you can not see the dummy.

There is also the Wilton flower pics. I get mine at Hobby Lobby. You can place fresh flowers and not have to worry about anyone having a reaction.

hello there do not use oasias to put the flowers in it will end up all overt you cake.When i do wedding cakes i use balls of fondant and i place them where i need them and stick the flowers in.I only use sugar flowers cause i do not want to risk that any sap or pollen falling on to the cake and if and ricsking anyone getting sick or even dieing from an reaction from them.Hope this helps
