Decorating with edible silver and gold candy balls

I have a client requesting a wedding cake with sprays of silver and gold candy balls. It's a design that I would have to place each ball to create. I have never worked with these candy balls before. Are they difficult to work with. I'm thinking I might have to use tweezers to place them and it might be a real pain in the butt.

Where to Purchase Silver dragees
by: Anonymous

I am currently working on my daughters wedding cake and I am using silver balls, which if I am not mistaken are called dragees. I purchased them at my local bulk food store. You buy what you need this way. I have also seen them in Cake Decorating Supply stores in set amounts but are more pricey.
