I just used the normal moist chocolate cake recipe, and used custard icing and then coloured sprinkles to decorate.

We live in a world where everything has gotten so complicated. Even toddler parties are often catered affairs with "perfect" cakes instead of the kind our mothers used to make us. Good for you--you didn't fall for that. You made it with love which is what really counts. I bet the kids loved it. Thanks for sharing.
