First Birthday Number One Cake

For this first birthday cake, I used two sheet cakes (funfetti from a box) stacked together with a thick layer of buttercream icing (thick because it was thick layers of cake). I then iced smooth blue buttercream icing.

Then I used a large rond tip to put on the hills around the bottom edge and smoothed with a butter knife.

I then used a smaller round tip to put the stems for the flowers around the cake. Next I piped on the flowers with two different tips.

I then used a round tip to pipe on the castle and butterflies and iced smooth. I then used the large round tip to pipe the colors of the rainbow and smooth blending together with my fingers.

I then used a fat textured round tip to pipe on the clouds. when i was done I added the Picture by placing it on a pedistal type base to give it the raise from the icing.

I worked on this for several hours all spread apart but it would have only too me maybe an hour if done straight through possibly not that long.

because that was my assignment was about
a 1yr old girls bday
