Flag Cake for a Birthday

Flag cake

I made this flag cake from a cake mix in a flag shaped pan for my great neice.

I used buttercream icing in red, white and blue.
I used star tips and covered the cake. I iced the sides smooth and did a shell border on the bottom.

I used pre-made candy letters to spell all the words.

It didn't take very long to make but the heat almost melted it before we could get it to the party!
