The flowers for this cake were made from Royal Icing, colored "peach" with a green center. They take a LONG, LONG time to dry and really are not very edible, kind of crunchy - but they are pretty to look at. After all that work, we ended up setting them aside and then cutting the cake.

THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL CAKE, I LOVE THE FLOWERS YOU DID A GREAT JOB. I WONDERED IF YOU COULD DO THE TOP WITH CHOCOLATE MELTS. HAVE YOU EVER TRIED THAT?
