After you are finished making your bow, you can briefly hold a steamer on it and this will make it shiny.

Shine them up

Take a ball of fondant and rub you ribbons with it. you can do that before you cut the ribbons out. Roll out your fondant and then take the ball of fondant in your hand and rub it till smooth and shiny...Nancy
