Golf Birthday Cakes

Bake a two layer round cake the size that you need.  Ice the cake with white icing using a cake spatula and making sure the surface is nice and smooth.

Next, with red icing and round tip #4 write the message on the cake top leaving room for the golf clubs.

With white icing and star tip, size #18, make a shell border around the top edge of the cake and the bottom edge of the sides of the cake.

Make a green sugar by putting a tiny bit of green food coloring in a baggie with sugar.  Seal the baggie and squeeze the baggie until the sugar turns green.

Sprinkle green sugar on the cake top around the writing.

Place two golf clubs criss cross on the grass.  These can be purchased in the miniature department of any craft store.

With white icing and round tip, size #5, make a few golf balls around the clubs.
