Halloween Cake Ideas Such as This Bat Cake

Bake a sheet cake the size that you will need.

With an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw the bat shape on your cake top.

Cut the cake away from the bat shape. You will use a star tip, size #18 to do all of the fill in work and a round tip, size #5 for the dot on the bat's eyes.

Make a sky blue color icing and fill in the blue dots on the bat making the bat's eyes a little larger.

Make a purple icing and fill in the purple dots on the bat.

Use white icing and your round tip and make a small dot on the bottom of the bat's eyes.

Now make your black icing and fill in the rest of the bat's body.
