Hannah Montana Cake

This cake was for my 8 year old niece who loves Hannah Montana. I started with the fondant: I made a Hannah doll (I used my daughters Barbie tracer)then painted with food coloring.

Then I added CDs with her song names on them (one I added "I'm Sorry")-after the underware thing on the net..She should have a song saying that! Next I added pink polka dots, the Hannah Montanna logo(dried around the 10" cake pan,to give it form) and the pink glitter guitar for the top.
All these were done ahead of time in fondant(about a week)for good drying time.

Out of royal frosting I made the staffs and notes and wrote on the CDs.

Building the cake..I started with 2- 14" base cakes, filled with custard and decorated with pink butter cream (tip:32).

Next layer: 10" cake with purple frosting, nd the pink polka dots around the back and the Hannah Logo on the front.

The Next Layer: 7" cake done in pink (tip#18).

The top Layer: 6" cake done in the purple and using the same tip.

I then added the notes and CDs wherever( just balance it out.) I put the pink guitar on the very top with a CD, then Hannah and her mike in the front. I just stood her up rather than put her in the cake....too heavy! Around the bottom, as you can see, I put a pink and purple boa...Hannah's favorite colors!
