Jersey Cake

I mixed a box of yellow cake mix and poured into a 9 x 13 inch pan. After cake was baked and cooled, I outlined the designed of the cake with a pearing knife and used a big kitchen knife to cut out the design.

I made simple vanilla icing (no buttercream) and used blue gel to color the icing blue. I used m&m candies and licorise for the design. My newphew was elated. The idea came from a cake I saw at a birthday party.
