Laptop Birthday Cake

I am making a 21st laptop birthday cake and was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to make the top standing so the laptop is open with 'happy 21st' on the screen? thankyou

thankyou both for the ideas, I'm thinking I'll have something attached to the board(underneath then leaning back as it is open) to support the top leaning back as the cake has to be taken 40 minutes away. hopefully this will work. thanks so much and what a helpful website.

I have made a mermaid cake that sitting in a open shell. The shell that standing I used stereofoam ( the white foam) that use for dummy cake. I attached a few long toothpick at the bottom so it can stand firmly during delivery.

laptop ideas

Not sure, but I did see a very old cake book the other day and they had a cake similar to what you're wanting.
The used the empty cake pan and covered it with icing.
And leaned it against the bottom cake.

You could use a cardboard box the size you need and cover it with icing or fondant.....
