Bake a sheet cake the size that you need. With an icing
filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw Mickey Mouse’s face on the cake
top. Cut away the cake from the shape of his face. If you prefer not to
have to cut the shape out yourself, you could use the
Mickey
Mouse cake pan
instead. However, if you would like to make this cake without the pan,
you can download
the free Mickey Mouse Cake Pattern to make it a little bit
easier.
With black icing and star tip, size #18, fill in the ears, the top part
of his head, the pupils of the eyes, the nose and the black part of the
mouth above the tongue.
|
"Mommy, Mickey Mouse knows my
name!" |
With white icing and the same size star tip, fill in the whites of the eyes.
Next, using red icing and the same size star tip, cover the tongue.
Now make a tan or cream color icing and using the same size star tip, #18, cover the rest of the face.
Now use your black icing and round tip, size #5 and outline the eyes, the line under the eyes, the smile and the mouth.
Finally, write your message on the board.
