Piano Cake by: Lena, Kuching Malaysia
Hai Kelly and Nancy,
I made a 1" thick 16"x10" sponge cake. Cut the cake into half. Then you will get 2 8"x10" cake. Cut 1 of the cake to 8" x 8". Next sandwich the 2 cakes together but leaving the 2" for the keyboard.
I drew the shape of the piano on a piece of paper and then I place it on the cake and cut the shape out. The whole cake I used fresh whipping cream.
The music note at the side of the cake I used blue piping gel just pump on it.

Great Piano by: Nancy
Lena, what a cute piano, I love waking up in the morning at the first thing I look for, are Easy cake.com. I love looking at all the creators in the world for cakes...I wanted to try one also, but haven't as yet.. I do wish you would add a little to how you did it. Did you have a pattern? Maybe add some instructions so I will have an idea. I know Kelly did a beautiful piano and used the candy for keys. I think I would use fondant, and I think you did the butter cream.. Please let us know....That is great. Nancy
