Red Hat Cake

Red Hat Cake

To make this red hat cake, I baked a white cake mix and put the whole eggs in it to make it a little heavier. I then put it into a 10 inch and 6 inch pan. I put a little more in the small pan to get a rounded top on it. Next, I made my fondant and colored some red and a little purple for the bow and rose and ribbon.

I made my almond butter flavored butter cream to frost it with. Then I put the red fondant on each cake, separately. I put the small on the large and decorated the cake with the flowers and the bow and band.

I found a plastic champagne bottle to put on it. An easy cake and not to much time to make and decorate. My cousin belongs to the Red Hat Society the this red hat cake is for her birthday.
