Red Sox Jersey Cake
I made this Red Sox Jersey cake for my boyfriend's birthday. I had loads of fun doing it, although it was a lot of work! I baked a pound cake and covered it with white fondant, leaving imperfections in order for it to look like a jersey.
I printed the Red Sox letters, the MLB logo, the B insignia and the Red Sox. I placed them on top of the fondant and cut them with an exacto knife. I also made buttons made out of fondant for the jersey and glued them with icing to the jersey. I also baked a round cake, covered it with white fondant and made the "stitching" with red fondant for the baseball.
THAT DAY THE RED SOX WON!
