ribbon

Is there a way to tell what kind of ribbon I can use on a cake that won't let the grease of icing seep in? I have a wedding cake on Friday and I have to buy ribbon. Thanks so much!--Dawn

I put ribbon on a wedding cake and just used a regular ribbon on a roll. The frosting was Fondant so I don't know what kind of icing you are using. I think any ribbon will work if the icing is dry to the touch. That's all the help I can give. Hope it works, Nancy of CA
