Roller Skate Birthday Cake

My client requested a roller skate and she liked cheese cake. So I created a 10 inch cheese cake and made the roller skate out of cake, basic yellow cake frosted with buttercreme.

I made a six inch cake and cut it in half for the foot of the roller skate and baked some of the batter in a soup can for the ankle. The wheels are made from glazed donuts, covered in white chocolate tinted pink and a marshmallow was placed for the roller skate stopper.

I added three small marshmallows to give me height for the icing in creating the pompom.
