Strawberry Shortcake Cake
This Strawberry Shortcake cake is a two tier cake, 8 inch on bottom and 6 inch on top. The bottom is chocolate and is filled with chocolate buttercream filling and the top is vanilla and is filled with strawberry filling.
I frosted the two cakes with buttercream and added some fondant to each tier for the dripping affect. Next I stacked the 6 inch on top of the 8 inch.
I finally decorated each tier with fondant.
This idea was from one of the Wilton cake decorating books.
