Thankyou for this tip! My son really wants a Tom & Jerry cake and since I am an amateur baker (and artist) I was freaking out! Thanks. Great help!

Chocolate transfer method by: Lena, Kuching Malaysia
This method you can transfer the design onto the cake 100% like the original design. 1st select a design to the size you want, then trace the design on a piece of grease paper using pen. Next you melt some cooking chocolate and fill it in a piping bag using tip 1 or 2.
Turn over the grease paper and pump the chocolate on the outline of the design. Leave it to dry.
Now you can frost your cake with cream or butter icing. (You may chill your cake till the cream or butter icing are firm) Next you turn over the design and paste it on the cake. Remove the grease paper carefully, you will see the chocolate design now has transfer onto your cake. Fill up the design with coloured cream or butter icing or piping jelly.
Try a few times and you will perfect your skill. Sometimes if I have lots of cakes to do I will prepare the designs a week or two in advance.
