Tombstone Cake

I was asked to make a sheet cake with a tombstone coming up out of the cake. It is for an over the hill birthday cake.
Do you have any suggestions on how to make the tombstone out of cake and have it stand up without falling over?

I have the idea. I was asking if anyone had any suggestions on how to keep the tombstone part (made out of cake also) standing up out of the cake base (made to represent the ground) from falling over.
