Tweety Cake

Tweety Cake

I used a box cake mix and baked according to directions in 2 flower shaped pans.

I let them cool completely.
I used buttercream icing.

I leveled the cakes and iced between the layers.

I iced the top smooth in yellow.
I drew Tweety's face on the cake using black icing. I used a little peach/orange color for the beak.

Then I used a star tip and covered the sides of the cake. I also used the same tip to do a shell border around the bottom.

I tried to make it look like flower petals by making an outline on top of the cake with the purple icing.
