Under the Sea Cake
I made this under the sea cake for my sons 2nd birthday party. This is a 3 tiered 2-layered chocolate cake with blue colored buttercream icing.
I made the Octopus out of fondant and died it orange. The head of the octopus is a styrofoam ball iced and then wrapped in fondant.
The tentacles were made and then shaped around balled up wax paper to take its form.
The border around the cake are from chocolate rock candy.
