Wedding Cakes

I made these wedding cakes for a couple in our church who were renewing their vows. I wasn't given a color scheme, so I went with pink, yellow, and lavender. The cakes were all iced with white butter cream icing.

The roses were also made with butter bream icing. The cake with pillars was made with an 8" round with a 6" stacked on top.

I put a cake plate with the pillars attached and a 6" inch round cake was put on top.

The sheet cake is a 12 x 18" one layer.

I used the letter press set from Wilton to do my writing, my handwriting is not very good. All cakes were bordered in white butter cream.

I think they turned out ok for an amateur cake decorator and every one at the reception seemed to enjoy them.
