How to Make this Baby Birthday Cake

Bake a sheet cake the size that you need. Ice the cake in white icing and make sure that the surface is smooth.

With an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw the rabbits on the cake surface, or use the parchment paper transfer method.

Use star tip, size #18 to fill in the colored areas and round tip, size #5 to do all of the outline work.

With green food color spray mist, spray the bottom section of the cake top for the background. (This is sometimes called color mist spray).

Use medium brown icing and the star tip to fill in the brown areas of the rabbits. Next, fill in the white areas of the rabbits with white icing and the same size star tip.

Use pink icing to fill in the pink area of the baby bunny’s ear.

Next, use the round tip, size #5 and black icing to outline both bunnies.

Make a yellow green color icing and use leaf tip, size #352 and make the blades of grass in the background and around the bunnies.

Next, use white icing and star tip, size #18 to make the shell border around the top and bottom edge of the sides of the cake.
