Tow Mater Cake

Tow Mater Cake

For this Tow Mater cake, I used two bread pans and two boxes of cake mix. I took the cake mix and mixed everything up that it called for and baked it. After I baked it, I let it cool. Then I took one of the bread pans of cake for the body and I took the other and cut it in half and put it for the cab of the truck.

Then what I did for the frosting is I took White frosting and put Orange and Red and a little of Red food coloring to make a rusty kind of color and frosted it.

Then I took white frosting for the eyes with green m&ms. I took a little blue for the paint wearing off look on the side. Oh and I took the other half of the cake and stuck it in front for the hood and cut it to look like the hood part was missing like his and used an Oreo cookie for the motor part with an m&m.

I used Oreo cookies also for the tires. I used two Hershey bars for the mirrors. For the tow area I used pretzels and string licorice. It turned out great I think. Thanks for some ideas from others who made Tow Mater too.
