Cake Topper

by Daisy
(Jacksonville FL)

I am making a baptism cake and the topper has lace and netting around it. What do I have to do to place this on the cake. I mean, I really don't want to ruin the netting and lace so do I put foil under it before placing on the cake?

You can cut a white cardboard circle to place under the topper; go around the outer edge of the circle with a shell border of buttercream.

I'M THINKING MAYBE A SMALL GLASS OR PLASTIC CONTAINER AND ARRANGE THE LACE AND NETTING IN IT,YOU CAN HOT GLUE IT TO THE INSIDE OF THE GLASS OR PLASTIC. I'M NOT SURE WHAT YOU ARE WANTING TO DO..GIVE ME MORE INFO..NRCOURTNEY@AOL.COM
