dying whipped cream frosting

by Jeana Quick

I have a request for a cake for this Saturday. I normally use buttercream, but she wants whipped cream frosting (which I have used before, but never dyed) and she wants me to use black writing and black trim. If I use buttercream for that I am afraid that it will slide off and it seems like the whipped cream frosting seems undyable. So I need some suggestions quickly. Thank you for your time and answers.

Dying whipped cream

Hi, I dye whipped cream any color that I like blue, green, red, purple, brown or black. Oily base dye will do. Sometime for dark brown color I like to use melted chocolate. Hope this can help. Happy baking
