Fondant Cutouts on Whipped Cream Frosting

I'm baking a block cake for my Goddaughter baby shower. She want whipped cream frosting with fondant cutouts on the cake. Can I do that?

Hi,

That is what I used to do... Fondant decor on a whipped cream frosting. You frost your cake one day before and chill it until you needed it. Then put your fondant decors on the cake and remember never, never put your cake back to the fridge otherwise the fondant decor will spoil. Just leave it in room temp it will last at least 4-5 hours.

P/s whip cream to a drier texture.

I don't know why it shouldn't work.

I have never used whipped cream frosting and I don't even know the ingredients.

I bet there's someone on here that does though!
