Icing that is good in hot weather?

Hi! I am doing a wedding cake for an outdoor reception in the middle of August.

It is very warm (hot actually), and I was wondering what icing will hold up the best. I know fondant does well, not sure about butter cream underneath. And I would rather not do fondant. Any and all suggestions and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much in advance for all the answers.

If you are going to use buttercream, I would suggest that you make it with just shortning and use a butter flavor. The shortning crusts over and won't melt as quickly. Also, do not set the cake in the sun. Put it under a tent or shaded area. I would also suggest that the cake stay inside until ready to serve if possible. Good luck!

This is the frosting I use all the time. I did an experiment last week when the temps were over 90 degrees and it was humid. I set some of the icing out on a slide in the noon sun and it did not melt.

I then used it for 2 wedding cakes on Friday and Saturday evening and it held up fine.

Here's another recipe that they say will hold up. I didn't have much luck with smoothing this because the sugarshack recipe is what I always use and this one wasn't what I'm used to. http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-6992-0-Indydebis-Crisco-Based-Buttercream-Icing.html
