Black and White Keys Piano Cake

Black and White Keys Piano Cake

For this piano cake, I bought two aluminum throw away pans and baked two chocolate cakes with Betty Crocker's help. I filled the center with butter cream and then cut it in a shape like a piano. I Made my keys out of white and black fondant.

I covered the cake with the brown chocolate fondant and then made a rose with fondant and trimmed the edges of the cake with brown butter cream. This was the first cake I had ever shaped by cutting it. It wasn't as hard as I thought. I was afraid I would mess it up...Nancy of CA

How wonderful that you can do fondant on the cake. In the place that I stay not very popular so some of the ingredient cannot find it in the store. Lovely rose that you made with fondant. Hope 1 day I will have a chance to learn. Thank you for sharing.
