Jonah's Whale Cake

Jonah's Whale Cake

I made this Jonah's whale cake for my son Jonah's 1st Birthday. I knew I wanted to make a whale so it took a lot of planning to get it right. I made two round cake layers and cut then into 1/2.

I frosted 2 halves on top of each other and sood them on the cut sides to made the body.

I carved another 1/2 to make the tail and fins and frosted them all with a layer of grey butter cream.

I used a star tip to frost the entire cake.

For the spout I used a sour patch straw candy and sliced the end to fray it and attached it with a toothpick.
