Rangers Football Cake

This was made for my Rangers football mad son for his birthday. I made a madeira square cake for the base cake and round ball tin for the top. The ball tin comes in two halves so when they are cooled, sandwich them with buttercream icing.

I cut out fondant icing into hexagons and put together like a jigsaw. I made the scarf with fondant and added personal touches like the FIFA sign as he plays FIFA a lot on the X-Box 360.

This was my second cake I have ever made and still learning.
