Welcome Home Cake

Welcome Home Cake

This welcome home cake was a combined effort. My daughter baked a 1/2 sheet cake. Let cool completely.

I iced in 4 different colors of buttercream. Then used a Viva to smooth and combine the colors.

I had my son draw the pattern for the Sgt. Maj. rank insignia and then I cut it out of fondant colored black.

The name was also fondant cut with cookie cutters.

The words at the top were black buttercream.
