How can I make a shopping bag cake. What size pans do you use and how do you apply the fondant. I want the cake to stand and not lay flat.

ME AGAIN

I WAS THINKING OF MORE OF A LUNCH BAG, YOU WANT A GIFT BAG RIGHT? I WOULD STILL USE TWO LOAF PANS AND TORTE THEM AND FILL COVER WITH FONDANT OR BUTTERCREAM AND THEN ON THE TOP PUT A COUPLE OF FONDANT STRAPS HANGING DOWN AND MAYBE THIN FONDANT IN A LITE COLOR AND ROLL THIN TO LOOK LIKE TISSUE PAPER. YOU CAN MAKE IT LIKE A MACY BAG OR ANY STORE NAME AND DECORATE THE BAG AS YOU PLEASE. I THINK THAT WOULD WORK. I HAVE NEVER TRIED IT, BUT I THINK I MIGHT ONE DAY. GOOD LUCK, I HOPE THIS WILL HELP..NRCOURTNEY@AOL.COM EMAIL IF YOU WANT...NANCY

I THINK I WOULD USE A COUPLE OF LOAF PANS AND TORTE THEM FILL WITH FILLING AND USE YOUR FONDANT TO COVER AFTER BEING BUTTERCREAMED. THE TOP PART OF THE BAG I WOULD CUT OUT OF FONDANT A RECTANGLE AND FOLD IT AND KIND OF WAD THE TOP TO LOOK LIKE A BAG TOP. THEN GLUE IT ONTO THE CAKE BOTTOM. PUT A TIE AROUND IT WHERE THE SEAM WOULD BE. I HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM TRYING TO EXPLAIN..IF I FIND ONE ON THE INTERNET I WILL SEND IT TO YOU ON THIS SITE AGAIN..HOPE THIS HELPS.
