How to Make Spongebob Cakes

Easy directions for making Spongebob Cakes:

Bake a sheet cake the size that you need. With an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw Spongebob on the cake top drawing a diaper on him instead of pants and a shirt.

With blue icing and star tip, size #18, fill in the center of the eyes

Use white icing next and the same size star tip and fill in the eyes, diaper and teeth.

Use pink icing and the same size star tip and fill in the tongue.

Now make a dark green colored icing and fill in the sponge holes and inside of the mouth.

Now make a bright yellow icing and use the same size star tip #18 and cover the rest of Spongebob.

Use a little red icing and round tip, size #5 and outline his cheeks putting three dots inside them.

With black icing, outline the entire Spongebob making sure not to forget the safety pin in the front of his diaper.

I would not have thought of using Spongebob cakes for baby shower cakes, but that is what this cake was for. This is actually a great idea for someone who has picked a theme for their nursery that is a character. The baby shower cake can be the character in a diaper! This is a very unique and cute idea!
