The Pyramids at Geiza Cake

A visit to the Pyramids

A visit to the Pyramids

Carving a perfect pyramid is almost as hard as building one! I needed to build a template/guide that would allow symmetry when carving the cakes.

The cakes were covered in fondant and embossed with a brick design and then dusted with edible color.

The Palm Trees were sculpted out of gumpaste.

The entire display was almost 3 feet long and weighed close to thirty pounds.
