Uncle Chap's White Pickup Cake

by Kelly Little-Smalley
(Van Buren, Arkansas, USA)

To make this white pickup cake, I used one cake mix, 2 loaf pans and 4 small round pans.

I stacked the loaves and trimmed excess and iced between layers with buttercreme.

I iced the whole thing then went over again using the star tip.

The grey - windows, black - bed of truck and bumpers and red - lights were fondant.

The wheels were small round cakes covered in black buttercreme and smoothed with a Viva, the grey centers of the wheels were fondant also.

The 'dirt' is brown sugar. The words were fondant as were the side view mirrors.
