Wilton Bowling Pin cake

by Amber
(New Marlborugh)

I am going to attempt the Wilton bowling pin cake, but before I do I have one concern. I want the bowling pins to stand up, is this possible? It seems to me that they would easily fall over. Any suggestions?

I suggest you use the rice krispie square recipe...I just made one with the two bowling pin pans I have and I put the pans together to form the pin....then I made three rice krispie square bowling balls. It turned out great. I used red tube icing for the stripe on the bowling pin.

I'm not sure. I bet you could use something like a paper towel holder ...the kind with a dowel in the center that's made onto a circle of wood....

I used a small bowling pin set on one of the bowling cakes I did.

Sorry I can't be more help.
