Red Drum Cake - Simple Instructions

Easy directions for making this red drum cake:

Bake a sheet cake the size that you need. With icing filled bag and round tip #5 draw the drums on the cake top. Cut the cake away from the drum shape.

 You will use the round tip #5 to do all the outline work and the star tip #16 to do all the fill in work. Make a gray icing and outline all the gray areas. Now fill them in with the same gray icing.

With red icing fill in all the red areas in the drums. Using a white icing write the persons name on the big drums face. Now fill in all the black areas. Use the same star tip to draw the legs of the drum set.

Fill in the sides of the cake with ivory or white icing. The birthday message can be written on the cake board using the round tip #5.
