Strawberry Shortcake Cake
I baked this Strawberry Shortcake cake for my daughter's 5th birthday who loves strawberry shortcake very much. The bottom cake is 2 recipes of rich & moist buttercake,sliced & filled with whipped cream (marshmallow icing is also good)and fresh strawberries.
The top cake is a chocolate cake with strawberry bits, filled with strawberry flavored buttercream icing constructed to form strawberry and covered with marshmallow fondant and topped with a toy strawberry shortcake.
