Mack's 5th Birthday Sponge Bob Square Pants Cake
This Sponge Bob Square Pants cake I made for my daughter's 5th birthday. The cake was 4 layers, All edible, and all made from scratch. Plus this was my 1st Character 2D cake!
The cake was french vanilla, made with homemade french vanilla pudding cooked into the cake.
Between each layer a a Cheesecake filling, this lso was injected into the cake.
The icing was a whipped vanilla mousse.
The fondant was a marshmallow fondant, banana flavored.
Because of all the fondant and the size of the cake, it took a week to make it. She really enjoyed it, (it was 1/2 as tall as her). She took some to Church and shared it with all of her Sunday School Class!
