Star Wars Cake for 5 Year Old's Party

Star Wars Cake for 5 Year Old's Party

For this Star Wars cake, I baked two 9x13 yellow sheet cakes and then frosted them together with vanilla buttercream to make one large sheet cake. I used the recipe for frosting that was on the back of the confectioner's sugar package and it was perfect!

Next time I would make 4 batches though. I had to stop to make more and that was kind of a pain. I then used chocolate buttercream with black coloring added for the writing and accent dots on the side.

I topped it off with some blue decorating sugar and my son's Star Wars figures and it was perfect!
