How to Make a Dog Birthday Cake

Bake a sheet cake the size that you need.

With an icng filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw The Dog on the cake top. Cut the cake from around the dog drawing adding cake pieces to the ends of the ears if you need to.

Make a black icing and using star tip, size #18, fill in the dog’s large nose and eyes.

Now make medium brown icing and with the same size star tip, fill in the shaded areas on the dog.

Now make a light golden brown icing and using star tip, size #18, fill in the rest of the dog.

You can if you like blend the edges of the shaded areas into the light golden brown using the tines of a fork.

Now use white icing and round tip, size #5 and outline just the bottom part of the eye. Also place a dot in the upper corners of the eyes.

Make lines on both sides of the nose for whiskers.
