How to Make This Graduation CakeEasy directions for making this graduation cake:
Make a sheet cake the size that you will need. Ice the
sheet cake with white icing using a cake spatula and making sure the
surface is nice and smooth.
Mark with a ruler a couple of inches in on each end of the cake. Leave the center free for your message later on.
Use white icing and round tip size #5 and do the lacework on the sides of the cake and the ends you marked off.
Change the tip to star tip, size #18 and do the shell border on the inside ends of the top of the cake.
Now do the shell border on the top edge and bottom edge of the cake.
The initials of the school are put at the top in the message area.
Use star tip, size #18 and your school’s colors.
Do the graduate’s name at the bottom of the message area in the same manner.
Change the tip on your main color to round tip, size #5 and write class of (the year of graduation). Underneath that write “Congratulations.”
