How to Make This Circus Cake

Easy directions for making this circus cake:

Bake a sheet cake the size that you need.  With an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5, draw a tent on the cake top.  Cut the cake away from the tent shape.

circus cakeYou will use star tip, size #18 to do all of the fill in work on the cake and a round tip, size #5 to do all of the outline work.

With black icing (or you can use a dark chocolate icing), fill in the doorway fo the tent.

Now make a red icing and fill in the red strips of the tent.

Use a lemon yellow icing to fill in the rest of the bottom section of the tent.
