How to Make Fish CakesEasy instructions for making fish cakes:
Bake a sheet cake the size that you need. Use an icing filled bag and round tip, size #5 to draw the fish on the cake as in the above picture.
The top, middle and bottom of the fin are made from

Using green icing and star tip size #16 or #18, fill in green stripes with green icing according to the picture. Fill in the body of the fish with orange icing and the same size star tip.
Fill in the eye with black and white icing and the same size star tip. Outline the eye in black icing and round tip, size #5. Cover the fins in sky blue colored icing and star tip, size #16 or #18.
The gills are orange slices and spearmint leaves cut in half lengthwise. Place the orange halves on the green stripes and the green halves on the orange sections.
The fin lines are burgandy fruit licorice "pull apart sticks" pulled apart and placed for fin lines extending slightly over the edge of the fin.
